About me:

I originally hail from sunny San Clemente, California. I attended the University of San Francisco with a President’s Merit Scholarship in 2010, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2014 with a Bachelor's in History.

While at USF, I was an American Sign Language tutor and captain of “Awkward Silence”, USF’s improv team. I also worked as a teaching assistant for the History Department and interned for the National Park Service on Alcatraz Island.

Since graduation, I have worked as a tutor for the ACT, SAT, and various single subjects. Two years ago, I accepted a position as the head tutor for an education start-up called CYC Education. CYC works extensively with foreign exchange students from China, and I had the opportunity to develop their EL classes. I left my position in the Spring of 2018 to join the Graduate School at Brown University.

I am now humbled to have the oportunity to attend Brown and to have been able to be a part of the incredible work at Brown Summer High School.
