My name is Mary Woodard. I was raised in Okarche, Oklahoma where I was homeschooled for five years before entering public school in 7th grade. My highly individualized education allowed me to accel in my academics and lead me to a lifelong love of learning. I graduated from Brown University in 2018 with a degree in Literary Arts with Honors in Cross-Disciplinary Writing, and I am currently in the Brown University Masters of Arts in Teaching program.

This portfolio documents my work at Brown Summer High School. If you would like to see my spring student teaching work at Hope High School, it can be found here.

When I’m not being a teacher I’m playing video games, dreaming of all the books I want to write, or doting on my two cat children, Princess Leia and Kirjava.
