I do a good job of soliciting and accepting feedback from my analysis professor, my mentor teaching, other teachers, students and others. I try to continue to incorporate this feedback into improving my performance each day. I frequently engage other teachers in the school in discussion of classroom practice in general and particular situations when they arise. I participate in continual professional development provided by my placement school such as Common Planning Time activities, faculty and department meetings, and committee meetings. I regularly engage with learning theory and explore new instructional strategies, including trying them out in practice. For example, I put a lot of effort into creating a large-scale problem solving exercise with a colleague in the history classroom that one of my classes completed.
