From doing my Teacher Research Project I learned a lot about and developed my questioning abilities significantly. But I think more fundamental to my development as a teacher I realized I don’t effectively (to my mathematical brain) code student work and I need to ensure in future teaching I develop rubrics or something similar to code students work and participation on small assignments as well as big ones (which I use rubrics for now.) That is going to be my main goal moving into my first year teaching, coding students work and tracking their progress.
