These are the visual representations of the vocabulary words from our unit on labor organizing.  The words were oppression, economic exploitation, resistance, strike, boycott, labor organizing, labor union and social movement.  Students presented their visuals to the class very proudly.  They did really incredible work here and this activity highlighted that allowing for more creative representations of understanding in the classroom makes space for products that students will take more pride in.  The activity was definitely effective in reviewing each of these terms as was its goal.
