For the final project, students were required to create their own social movement and there were a whole host of requirements for the project.  We were giving students time in class to work on the project, but we wanted this time to be used as effectively as possible. So, I created a checklist for each part of the project which included brainstorming (Item A), a paper (Item B) and a poster (Item C) and gave students certain amounts of time for each.   The bulk of the project was the paper portion since it fully described their ideas and the poster was just a visual representation of their movement.  The student work shown above exemplifies this process of going from brainstorming to thinking about and answering each question to constructing a visual representation.
