Teaching APUSH was a blast this year! Although it required a whole lot of time and dedication, we kept a tight schedule to fit in all of the content. Covering a chapter a week was a challenge for the students but we tried to keep it creative by debating in class every Friday, writing DBQ's weekly, and doing creative projects like children's books, timelines, and storyboards for movies. Overall, I was impressed with how the students' writing developed over the course of the year and very pleased with the deligence with which they set about strengthening their college-ready skills
