The Stern MASS uniforms are related to the number of credits students have earned, providing an incentive to pass all of your classes and keep up with the rest of the students in your Advisory class and in your grade. My Advisory, therefore, proudly retires a shirt each year as a symbolic gesture of moving to the next grade.
