Christian influence and it’s inspirations justified many Koreans to immigrate from Korea to the United States.  Many Christian Koreans believe the U.S. is blessed by the Christian God because of its material blessings and technologic advancements making it the “land of milk and honey.”  This biblical theme has made many Christian Koreans believe that seeking a better life in the U.S. is justifiable and desirable from a Christian perspective. This may be one of the reason why many 75% of Korean-Americans attend church and consider themselves Christian.

Korean Americans also feel a commonality with Americans because they feel that they worship the same God.  Christianity has made Korean immigrants feel a religious connection with Americans and many Korean churches rent American church facilities for worship before constructing their own church buildings.
