Homework for the Week of May 14th

 

Monday:

Students began learning about the Cornell Note taking method. Students were taught the basics of the method and then practiced the strategy individually and in pairs. Students then applied the approach to Ch. 32 -- The Geography And Early Beginnings of Rome.

 

Homework:

Students should complete their Cornell Notes for Ch 32, sections 1-3. They should then complete the reading notes for Ch 32 through section 3 as well.

Tuesday:

Students continued with their exploration the influence of Greek and Etruscan culture on Rome. Students learned about Etruscan Sport, Greek Architecture and Language and how they left their mark on the Romans.

 

Homework:

Sections 4-6.

 

Wednesday:

Students finalized their reading of Chapter 32 by rweading about the Greek influence on Roman Art and Roman Religion.

 

Homework:

Students should finalize their Cornell Notes for Chapter 32 and their Reading Notes for Chapter 32.
