Gradebook

Despite the lack of grades at BSHS, we kept a simple gradebook where we assessed each student's performance on major tasks on a scale from 0 to 4.

For an example of a rubric we used to assess a task on the 0-4 scale (with 0 being "not done"), click here: flipbook rubric.pdf. The first page of this rubric outlines the standards in a brief, easily digestible format, and provides a space for instructor feedback. The second page contains extensive descriptions of the specific traits expected for each standard, to ensure that assessment is rigorous and fair.
